Welcome to Canaan USA

God has brought you to this little piece of the Body of Christ that exists by and for restoration. You have come to a community made up of individuals and families who were once destroyed and without hope, but were rescued and given a new life. We join the invitation that God himself is making to you, we welcome you to our family and to this wonderful adventure called Restoration.

We believe that God is sovereign and therefore it was He who united your path with ours. We pray that all His purposes are fulfilled and that you and your family can become part of the powerful army that rises from the valley of dry bones. (Ezekiel 37)

God
We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to mankind and become our Savior. We believe in His virgin conception, His sinless life, the authenticity of His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His mediatorial work in heaven, and the hope of His personal return in power and glory.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit. He gives life, He sanctifies, He empowers, He convicts of sin, He indwells believers, and He comforts.
The Scriptures
We believe that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, in their original texts, are inspired in their entirety by the Holy Spirit, without error.
Salvation
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only means for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, God offers free salvation to those who place their faith in Christ's death and resurrection as sufficient payment for their sin.
The Church
We believe that the church is the Body of Christ of which Jesus is the head. Members of the church are those who have trusted, by faith, in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and making Him known to the lost world.
Marriage
We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a covenant before God between one man and one woman. Marriage is the central unit of the family.
Humanity
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God to have intimacy with Him. Tempted by Satan, man fell and consequently brought the entire human race into a state of separation from God, unable to reestablish their relationship with God through their own efforts.

We love the sinner without condoning the sin.

1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

We live without secrets.

James 5:16 Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. 1 John 1:5 God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

We are consistent between what we teach and what we live.

1 Timothy 5:8 For if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

We use our story to inspire others.

Revelation 19:10 The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

We can understand the anguish of those who suffer because we have been there.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

We walk and build a future together. We develop relationships that go beyond time, institutions and distances.

Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

We are free to be who God designed us to be. Unity in the midst of diversity.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

We admire, value and treat each person with the same dignity that we all deserve.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or empty conceit, but in humility of mind regard others as more important than yourselves.

We accompany others in their decision to reconcile with God, with themselves and with the people they care about most. We collaborate in rebuilding broken bridges and devastated cities. We are healers of breaches.

2 Corinthians 5:19 For God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and hath committed to us the message of reconciliation.
